Fiori Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Paraense in the 8th minute of play forced Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper João Paulo Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Paulo Zonta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jano Cavalcante went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Excelência de Luxe's João Paulo Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Cavalcante in the 13th minute of play. Agostinho Salgado hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Clóvis Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. João Paulo Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute, Leandro Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 21st minute Arthur Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulo Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 23rd minute of the match. João Paulo Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson de Godoi's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Jano Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agostinho Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Zonta having to interfere. Leandro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Zonta having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Agostinho Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Paulo Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 37th minute, Claudinho Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiori Vasconcelos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Paulo Zonta. Excelência de Luxe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilson de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's Claudinho Travassos got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fiori Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Paulo Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Cavalcante in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Clóvis Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulo Zonta. Excelência de Luxe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Leandro Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Zonta having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, Excelência de Luxe's João Vítor Lira got a free kick in the 51st minute. João Paulo Zonta made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Jano Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Leandro Brito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Paulo Zonta, 0-6. Thanks to some nice moves Jano Cavalcante could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which João Paulo Zonta however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Excelência de Luxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jano Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Paulo Zonta having to make a save. Montevideo were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Excelência de Luxe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fiori Vasconcelos took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fiori Vasconcelos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Paulo Zonta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. João Paulo Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jano Cavalcante in the 66th minute. João Paulo Zonta made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jano Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. Jano Cavalcante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but João Paulo Zonta made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Excelência de Luxe's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Cavalcante came free, but João Paulo Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Excelência de Luxe's João Paulo Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Excelência de Luxe from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, Montevideo's Fiori Vasconcelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Adelino Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montevideo! In the 99th minute, Jano Cavalcante made a precise shot to the right of João Paulo Zonta. Excelência de Luxe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-10. Montevideo played a much better game than Excelência de Luxe and deserved their victory. The Excelência de Luxe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
