Belmiro Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ernesto Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Ernesto Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Caco Mota sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd match minute, EDI MZB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Arce to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcel Moreira during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Belmiro Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's Nicolas Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Mota in the 56th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's Marcel Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yuri Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernesto Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Mota in the 65th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Lago having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Belmiro Sanches cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ernesto Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. EDI MZB made a substitution. Claudinei Albuquerque replaced Sidnei Fernandez. EDI MZB's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
