After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Ed Mcwilliam got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jordon Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Baba in the 5th minute of play. Carmichael Tinsley came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jordon Day could save by the left post. Dante Baba had several of the Southern Thrashers's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jordon Day as he didn't even see the shot coming. 12 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Jordon Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casper Keato. Jordon Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fletcher Baba, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Baba in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordon Day saved Southern Thrashers from getting behind. In the 14thth minute of the game Fletcher Baba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southern Thrashers's Jordon Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Fletcher Baba sped through Southern Thrashers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jordon Day. In the 17th minute Conner Mclatchey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordon Day was a little too slow when Fletcher Baba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. Fletcher Baba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jordon Day came out and tried to block the shot, but Fletcher Baba slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. Fletcher Baba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Jordon Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 29th minute Australian Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Fletcher Baba went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Dante Baba drilling the ball in to score 5-0 behind Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper. Humberto Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conner Mclatchey in the 32nd minute of the match. Jordon Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fletcher Baba's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A collision led to Southern Thrashers getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Irwin Mcjunkins hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Baba in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jordon Day saved Southern Thrashers from getting behind. Fletcher Baba did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Jordon Day 39 minutes into the match. Antony Cuddihy kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Fletcher Baba made the kick off in the second half. Jordon Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmichael Tinsley in the 51st minute of the match. Southern Thrashers's Jordon Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fletcher Baba in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Southern Thrashers getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Nicholas Hanslow hit a great ball. Dante Baba took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordon Day. Jordon Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jordon Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Baba, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Dante Baba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordon Day. Southern Thrashers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dante Baba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 77th minute, Dante Baba made a precise shot to the right of Jordon Day. Southern Thrashers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Dante Baba took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jordon Day. Jordon Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. In the 82nd minute, Dante Baba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordon Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fletcher Baba in the 84th minute of the match. Jordon Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmichael Tinsley went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Jerrard Garing kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Australian Youth Academy's Fletcher Baba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Southern Thrashers. After having played for 96 minutes, Fletcher Baba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australian Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fletcher Baba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Australian Youth Academy fully deserved thier win.
