Ayla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everett Goodwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arty Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Everett Goodwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flying Hellfish the free kick. The supporters of Flying Hellfish booed when Ayla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everett Goodwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arty Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Lord in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burns Lenard got free with Elliott Bundy in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elliott Bundy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cregan Convine in the 28th minute of the match. Arty Hands came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayla FC's Bruce Lord. But to his dismay, Bruce Lord quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Logan Mccarthy scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arty Hands, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Logan Mccarthy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Logan Mccarthy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arty Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute of the match Daniel Gavin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elliott Bundy skillfully saved the ball. Abe Todman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Bundy having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Logan Mccarthy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Flying Hellfish's Edmonds Magnay got a free kick in the 50th minute. After a rather tough play, Ayla FC's Everett Goodwin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cregan Convine took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elliott Bundy. Ayla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 56th minute, Edmonds Magnay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flying Hellfish's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abe Todman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruce Lord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Arty Hands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Mccarthy came free, but Arty Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliott Bundy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abe Todman, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Logan Mccarthy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arty Hands. That made the score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. Cregan Convine's late challenge caught a Ayla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cregan Convine helped the player get up and apologised. When Bruce Lord came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ayla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Lord couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Bleyd Belford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Cregan Convine sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ayla FC's Elliott Bundy didn't even have to move. Logan Mccarthy kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Ayla FC's Logan Mccarthy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arty Hands made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ayla FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
