Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abe Todman got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Frenchville Sports Club's Brendan Gannan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arty Hands made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Eddie Sparrow came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Hellfish's Burns Lenard. But to his dismay, Burns Lenard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Flying Hellfish's Brian Mcwilliam got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Flying Hellfish booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Nunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adam James fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flying Hellfish's protests and gave Adam James a yellow card for diving instead. Adam James hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Damon Waters kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arty Hands. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. A collision led to Frenchville Sports Club getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kyle Deal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Orr in the 24th minute of play forced Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Eddie Sparrow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flying Hellfish's Arne Orr got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Sparrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birrell Rhoades in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Flying Hellfish's Arne Orr nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Nunn during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 minutes of play, Flying Hellfish's Abe Todman made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Sparrow was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendan Gannan made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Frenchville Sports Club's Brendan Gannan made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arty Hands was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arty Hands showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Gannan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Brendan Gannan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Arty Hands didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frenchville Sports Club. If Arne Orr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frenchville Sports Club's Eddie Sparrow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Orr in the 67th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Deal. Abe Todman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Eddie Sparrow when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Mcwilliam during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Flying Hellfish got a freekick which was hit by Brian Mcwilliam. A collision led to Frenchville Sports Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Curtis Mckinnes hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Orr came free, but Eddie Sparrow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes Frenchville Sports Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Birrell Rhoades who took care of the corner kick. Arty Hands came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Frenchville Sports Club's Brendan Gannan. But to his dismay, Brendan Gannan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Brendan Gannan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Arty Hands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Adam James hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendan Gannan in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arty Hands saved Flying Hellfish from getting behind. Curtis Mckinnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Arty Hands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Curtis Mckinnes got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Flying Hellfish's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Waters came free, but Arty Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
