Phillip Finden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute, Steve Haskell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryan Heys hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A hard shot 15 in the game by Brendan Gannan from a close distance when the talented Phillip Finden managed to make a qualified save. Glasston's players were relieved. Frenchville Sports Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Earle Lingwoodock in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Henry Laing got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Phillip Finden quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brendan Gannan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Finden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Ryan Heys made a precise shot to the right of Edward Magrath. Frenchville Sports Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ryan Heys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edward Magrath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Max Waterland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Frenchville Sports Club's Humphry Gerrard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phillip Finden. That made the score 3-1 after 37 minutes of play. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Glasston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Waterland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Gannan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Phillip Finden when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 41st minute Max Waterland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Magrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Niles Connell fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glasston's protests and gave Niles Connell a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glasston getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Niles Connell hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Niles Connell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Edward Magrath was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ryan Heys charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ryan Heys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ryan Heys hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brendan Gannan to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Max Waterland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Edward Magrath was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Earle Lingwoodock. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Waterland in the 63rd minute of play. When Frenchville Sports Club's Brendan Gannan in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glasston's goalie prevented a goal. Phillip Finden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Gannan in the 68th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, Glasston's Max Waterland made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Magrath was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Waterland in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Frenchville Sports Club from getting a goal against them. Edward Magrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Byron Mealmaker in the 81st minute of the match. Edward Magrath made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Niles Connell sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Max Waterland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Magrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Niles Connell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edward Magrath, 3-6. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Waterland in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Glasston got a freekick which was hit by Max Waterland. Brendan Gannan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glasston's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
