Spectators: 185 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Amputees FC's Abraham Laing started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Burton in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Neville Peach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th match minute, Amputees FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eden Heberle to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob Burton in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neville Peach saved Amputees FC from getting behind. Manly FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mourad Rocchi in the 13th minute. After taking down the ball on Manly FC's corner Mourad Rocchi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Neville Peach quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Bonham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Mourad Rocchi shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Amputees FC's Neville Peach to catch but Mourad Rocchi was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Valentino Panetta fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manly FC's protests and gave Valentino Panetta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Manly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Panetta to maneuver through the defense. Neville Peach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randle Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manly FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mourad Rocchi in the 20th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Amputees FC's goalie and right to Randle Rutledge. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Amputees FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Manly FC's Battle Dowsing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Art Kidman, made in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 26th minute Manly FC were awarded a corner. Mourad Rocchi went to the cornerflag to take it. Dagan Eicke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Sydney Ross when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Art Kidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Rob Burton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rob Burton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neville Peach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amputees FC's Ed Mckinley got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Randle Rutledge took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neville Peach. Neville Peach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Manly FC's goalkeeper Sydney Ross, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 minutes Manly FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Howie Withy who took care of the corner kick.

Neville Peach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randle Rutledge in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Manly FC's Randle Rutledge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neville Peach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th minute of the match Manly FC got a corner. Amputees FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mourad Rocchi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 59th match minute, Manly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Lenard to maneuver through the defense. Manly FC's Randle Rutledge got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Randle Rutledge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Neville Peach. The goal made the score 0-3. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Battle Dowsing got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Amputees FC's Abraham Laing in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manly FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute Randle Rutledge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neville Peach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randle Rutledge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sydney Ross stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Laing's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Randle Rutledge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eden Heberle hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Mister Yasin struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Neville Peach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. 90 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Laing came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Amputees FC booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Lenard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Manly FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
