Spectators: 177 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 41, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abraham Laing started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abraham Laing in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Finden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glasston's Phillip Finden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Laing in the 4th minute of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Abraham Laing sped through Glasston's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Phillip Finden. If Byron Mealmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Glasston booed when Amputees FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Earle Franklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Laing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Finden having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Max Waterland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amputees FC's Neville Peach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Max Waterland in the 31st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Abraham Laing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glasston's Phillip Finden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ian Peixoto charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Peixoto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ian Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Phillip Finden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Laing went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Glasston's Phillip Finden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagan Eicke in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Amputees FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Max Waterland made the kick off in the second half. Niles Connell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Neville Peach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Max Waterland hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Eden Heberle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Waterland hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Glasston's Phillip Finden got control of the ball when Abraham Laing tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glasston's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Howie Withy was slow to take the kick. During this time Amputees FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 69th minute, Art Kidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Byron Mealmaker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dagan Eicke struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Phillip Finden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amputees FC. Glasston's Phillip Finden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Laing in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Max Waterland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Laing in the 86th minute of play forced Glasston's goalkeeper Phillip Finden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Max Waterland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glasston's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Waterland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neville Peach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Amputees FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
