With a left leg Alexander Quinnell saved AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Blade Pincini came free, but Alexander Quinnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Corder Kiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Downing Mueller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Corder Kiel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Leeton United FC's Downing Mueller. Downing Mueller was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Paz Gledden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Quinnell was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Downing Mueller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corder Kiel in the 56th minute of play. Downing Mueller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
