Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cebo Segura ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cebo Segura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Amado Ciscal did a great save. Emanuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaiet Ambrosio in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gutierre Chamorro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Kaiet Ambrosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a corner. The Real Unión CF fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Real Unión CF's Odilon Rozano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Kaiet Ambrosio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Neuer was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th match minute, Real Unión CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavian Amileta to maneuver through the defense. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Ciscal should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Redondas. 92 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Berceanu came free, but Amado Ciscal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Real Unión CF had won after a very even match.
