In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Emanuel Neuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 minutes, Leopoldo Jacinto Luque made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Real Unión CF's Emanuel Neuer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 12th minute of the match. Leopoldo Jacinto Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 18th minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Emanuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Neuer came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ríver Late's Leopoldo Jacinto Luque. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Jacinto Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 30th match minute, Ríver Late was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mijailo Mudryk to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Jacinto Luque in the 32nd minute of play forced Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Emanuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Ríver Late's Leopoldo Jacinto Luque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Neuer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 41 played minutes Real Unión CF got a freekick which was hit by Gutierre Chamorro. After the first half Ríver Late were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Lalo Vitoria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Unión CF's Emanuel Neuer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Unión CF from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Neuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Jacinto Luque went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Paolo Musko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Real Unión CF's goalkeeper Emanuel Neuer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Dias. In the 70th minute, Luís Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ríver Late fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Real Unión CF's Mihnea Berceanu was substituted for Odilon Rozano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Musko in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Neuer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Espiridion Ascot in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Gutierre Chamorro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adam Adamski. Ríver Late's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gutierre Chamorro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Emanuel Neuer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mijailo Mudryk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Ríver Late's Luís Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emanuel Neuer. Emanuel Neuer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7.
