The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felo Villaspasa during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Obrero Barquisimeto's Gaspar Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Corderun in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Freddy Corderun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Torres was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Paulo Antoñana came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Obrero Barquisimeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Antoñana couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Hermon in the 17th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Gaspar Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Paulo Antoñana got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Freddy Corderun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gaspar Torres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Obrero Barquisimeto fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Gaspar Torres came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Chamos FC's Geovânio Amaral. But to his dismay, Geovânio Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gaspar Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felo Villaspasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Antoñana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Argoud having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Marcos Akerman got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gaspar Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Hermon in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to Los Chamos FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Isaac Hermon hit a great ball. Marcos Akerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Craig Argoud made a huge save. When Los Chamos FC's Freddy Corderun in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obrero Barquisimeto's goalie prevented a goal. Gaspar Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, Los Chamos FC's Craig Argoud got control of the ball when Paulo Antoñana tried to sneak it across the goal line. Obrero Barquisimeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaby Martínez in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Obrero Barquisimeto booed when Los Chamos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Chamos FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Isaac Hermon hit a great ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Paulo Antoñana heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The throw-in from Abel Nadal in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Obrero Barquisimeto's Luciano Aza. Gaspar Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexi Popgeorgiev in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Obrero Barquisimeto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Chamos FC.
