The corner led Los Chamos FC's Freddy Corderun to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Bertol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 15 minutes, Bertol Pacheco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Chamos FC and the Rayland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Los Chamos FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bertol Pacheco hit a great ball. Freddy Corderun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Bertol having to interfere. With a little luck, Rayland FC's Joel Bertol got control of the ball when Alexi Popgeorgiev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Endrick de Souza put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Craig Argoud. When Ambrosio Marchamalo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rayland FC's protests and gave Ambrosio Marchamalo a yellow card for diving instead. Ambrosio Marchamalo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Samuel Almaguer's late challenge caught a Rayland FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexi Popgeorgiev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Los Chamos FC booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Taglieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 played minutes, Los Chamos FC's Freddy Corderun shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Bertol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Chamos FC reached it. Boruc Rosen hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Craig Argoud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Bannister's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynardo Salto got free with Craig Argoud in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rayland FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
