When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Marcelo Penilla took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Azubeli Gimilio to make any attempt to save it. In the 9th minute Marcelo Penilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azubeli Gimilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorio Laje took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xamo Echague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azubeli Gimilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Penilla in the 17th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Azubeli Gimilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Azubeli Gimilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Penilla's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Azubeli Gimilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Penilla in the 28th minute of the match. Azubeli Gimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Penilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Azubeli Gimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Penilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes Alianza FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrygo Goes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rodrygo Goes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Azubeli Gimilio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza FC's goalkeeper Azubeli Gimilio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Alianza FC's Azubeli Gimilio got control of the ball when Marcelo Penilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Penilla in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Azubeli Gimilio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Azubeli Gimilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Penilla in the 44th minute of the match. When Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alianza FC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Penilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Azubeli Gimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmundo Bullan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alianza FC's Azubeli Gimilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Penilla in the 54th minute of play. Osmundo Bullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Penilla struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Azubeli Gimilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla F.C.. Azubeli Gimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Penilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Alianza FC's Salomone Galera got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Rodrygo Goes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azubeli Gimilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Penilla in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azubeli Gimilio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes of play, Valhalla F.C.'s Marcelo Penilla made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Azubeli Gimilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcelo Penilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Azubeli Gimilio having to make a save. Azubeli Gimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Penilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Penilla came free, but Azubeli Gimilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Marcelo Penilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Azubeli Gimilio. Alianza FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Penilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
