After having played for 18 minutes, Delmar Veidazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AJ Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Veidazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Ribota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermín Gay in the 20th minute of play. In the 28th minute Osmundo Puertas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Ribota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AJ Juventus FC's Clemente Ribota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmundo Puertas in the 31st minute of play. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Osmundo Puertas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes AJ Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Tarriba. After 39 played minutes AJ Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Baltuile. Cristiano De La Iglesia might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Ribota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano De La Iglesia ran back to his position shaking his head. Osmundo Puertas took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Ribota. Clemente Ribota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AJ Juventus FC's Huly Francia got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmundo Puertas to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Jorge Tarriba fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AJ Juventus FC's protests and gave Jorge Tarriba a yellow card for diving instead. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Esquipula Argomedo replaced Valentin Azpeitia. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when AJ Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Tarriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Rodriguez Toresano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodriguez Toresano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Ribota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Brenner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76thth minute of the game Alvin Brenner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AJ Juventus FC's Clemente Ribota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ádám Dobos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Ribota. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. A collision led to Imperio Catatumbo de Lara getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Osmundo Puertas hit a great ball. Clemente Ribota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ádám Dobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Ribota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ádám Dobos in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Ádám Dobos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AJ Juventus FC's Clemente Ribota. Clemente Ribota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clemente Ribota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ádám Dobos in the 93rd minute of the match. A collision led to AJ Juventus FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Romano Ocaña hit a great ball. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
