Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Victor Angosto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernandez Ventosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Neomar Lander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roger Garavito, 1-0. The Chigüires De Mogadiscio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Garavito should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes Chigüires De Mogadiscio got a freekick which was hit by Mamiek Sudaryono. In the 33rd minute Freddy Pangua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Garavito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Roger Garavito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Pangua in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Unikurdos United F.C.'s Neomar Lander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roger Garavito. That made the score 4-0 after 36 minutes of play. Lawrence Osuna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Garavito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Baladi Jorge kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Pangua came free, but Roger Garavito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Angosto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Neomar Lander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Garavito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Hernandez Ventosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mamiek Sudaryono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
