Svanbjörn von den Berg might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zoilo Rojica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svanbjörn von den Berg ran back to his position shaking his head. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svanbjörn von den Berg to strike the kick off in the second half. Zoilo Rojica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Cordearo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 91 minute of play. During the 94th minute of the match Neto Alcaraz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Neto Alcaraz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Linterna verde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Fedele Melani scored to the left of an out of position Zoilo Rojica, making the score, 0-11. Deportivo Galicia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
