Unica FC's Nikolay Myasnikov got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 14 minutes, Vladimir Blokhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Днепр ФК's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Blokhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irakliy Khokhlov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikhail Dementiev, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Leonid Eremin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unica FC's Aleksandr Dobritskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aleksandr Dobritskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Eremin in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Днепр ФК defense, Mikhail Dementiev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irakliy Khokhlov. The Днепр ФК fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irakliy Khokhlov should have stopped the shot. Irakliy Khokhlov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Suvorov in the 39th minute of the match. Igor Suvorov kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Klim Belyavskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonid Eremin to strike the kick off in the second half. Irakliy Khokhlov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikhail Dementiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Pavel Dolzhnitskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irakliy Khokhlov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Leonid Eremin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Днепр ФК fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 72 minutes, Igor Suvorov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74th minute, Unica FC's Nikolay Myasnikov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Leonid Eremin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 minutes, Boris Markov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Днепр ФК and the Unica FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikolay Myasnikov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Irakliy Khokhlov made a huge save. With a little luck, Днепр ФК's Irakliy Khokhlov got control of the ball when Igor Suvorov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Unica FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
