FC Barcelona Lassa's Svyatoslav Botvinnikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolay Kosunov in the 12th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, STORM's Nikolay Kosunov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Svyatoslav Botvinnikov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svyatoslav Botvinnikov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostislav Zaitsev in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 19 minutes, Efim Lentovskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona Lassa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efim Lentovskiy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Svyatoslav Botvinnikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Koirovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Zaitsev in the 28th minute of play forced FC Barcelona Lassa's goalkeeper Svyatoslav Botvinnikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruslan Gavrilenkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efim Lentovskiy in the 31st minute. Svyatoslav Botvinnikov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolay Kosunov in the 32nd minute of the match. Ruslan Gavrilenkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ruslan Gavrilenkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Tinkov in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute FC Barcelona Lassa were awarded a corner. Oles Byshovets went to the cornerflag to take it. Zinoviy Kornilov was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ruslan Gavrilenkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Tinkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Nikolay Kosunov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svyatoslav Botvinnikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Barcelona Lassa's Svyatoslav Botvinnikov got control of the ball when Vitaliy Koirovich tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruslan Gavrilenkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Tinkov in the 61st minute of play. Zinoviy Kornilov hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, STORM's Matvey Mikhailov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Svyatoslav Botvinnikov. Svyatoslav Botvinnikov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Rostislav Zaitsev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Svyatoslav Botvinnikov made a huge save. Svyatoslav Botvinnikov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vitaliy Koirovich's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. FC Barcelona Lassa's Svyatoslav Botvinnikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rostislav Zaitsev in the 83rd minute of play. If Zinoviy Kornilov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Timofey Ilyuhin fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona Lassa's protests and gave Timofey Ilyuhin a yellow card for diving instead. Timofey Ilyuhin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Valentin Vorobiev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svyatoslav Botvinnikov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona Lassa's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vorobiev came free, but Svyatoslav Botvinnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. STORM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nikolay Kosunov in the 95th minute. STORM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
