In the 14th minute Efim Lentovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Gavrilenkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STORM's Ruslan Gavrilenkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy Tinkov in the 17th minute of play. Svyatoslav Botvinnikov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikolay Ananichev in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, FC Barcelona Lassa's Vitaliy Tinkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruslan Gavrilenkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy Tinkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona Lassa's Ilya Abramov got a free kick in the 51st minute. Zinoviy Kornilov kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matvey Mikhailov in the 79th minute of play forced FC Barcelona Lassa's goalkeeper Svyatoslav Botvinnikov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nikolay Ananichev fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STORM's protests and gave Nikolay Ananichev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Barcelona Lassa booed when STORM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikolay Ananichev didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitaliy Tinkov in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruslan Gavrilenkov saved STORM from getting behind. If Vitaliy Tinkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, STORM's Matvey Mikhailov got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Oles Byshovets shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruslan Gavrilenkov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
