Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonid Eremin took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Eremin in the 5th minute of play forced STORM's goalkeeper Ruslan Gavrilenkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Днепр ФК's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolay Kosunov came free, but Irakliy Khokhlov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, STORM's Nikolay Kosunov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Irakliy Khokhlov. Irakliy Khokhlov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Irakliy Khokhlov made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Valentin Vorobiev sent off a good shot on target. Aleksandr Schukin took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irakliy Khokhlov. Irakliy Khokhlov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Днепр ФК getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Boris Markov hit a great ball. The supporters of STORM booed when Днепр ФК was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrey Sheludko didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonid Eremin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Leonid Eremin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruslan Gavrilenkov. STORM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonid Eremin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Irakliy Khokhlov came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by STORM's Igor Maley. But to his dismay, Igor Maley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Aleksandr Schukin's late challenge caught a Днепр ФК's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aleksandr Schukin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, STORM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksandr Schukin to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy Koirovich to strike the kick off in the second half. Irakliy Khokhlov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Maley in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, STORM's Igor Maley made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Irakliy Khokhlov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Днепр ФК's Leonid Eremin got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Nikolay Ananichev notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Днепр ФК's Irakliy Khokhlov. Irakliy Khokhlov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irakliy Khokhlov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitaliy Koirovich went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After 72 played minutes STORM got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Schukin. Vladimir Blokhin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Irakliy Khokhlov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Maley went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Irakliy Khokhlov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Koirovich in the 81st minute of the match. Irakliy Khokhlov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Koirovich, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Igor Maley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. STORM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
