Ernesto Marrone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Concetto Uguccioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10th play minutes Enrico De Grandis shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Concetto Uguccioni and just under the crossbar into goal. The nice shot from Filippo Pugliese in the 13thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Concetto Uguccioni had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 14th minute of the match A.S. Trastevere got a corner. Bar Marconi United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yu Jian Yang ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to A.S. Trastevere getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Antonello Scudieri hit a great ball. Aldo Del Grosso kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Alberto Frabetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Di Mascio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes A.S. Trastevere's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ferdinando Tullo who took care of the corner kick. Filippo Pugliese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Concetto Uguccioni made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Enrico De Grandis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Uguccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Alessandro Albertosi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Concetto Uguccioni managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when A.S. Trastevere's Filippo Pugliese fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Berardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Alberto Frabetti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Concetto Uguccioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippo Pugliese in the 57th minute of the match. When Carlo Graziano came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the A.S. Trastevere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Graziano couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute Enrico De Grandis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Uguccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.S. Trastevere's Filippo Pugliese got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bar Marconi United's Carmine Di Mascio got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, A.S. Trastevere's goalkeeper Alberto Frabetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmine Di Mascio. If Filippo Pugliese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.S. Trastevere's Ercole Laurenti was substituted for Arturo Briganti. 82 minutes into the game, Filippo Pugliese cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Concetto Uguccioni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Concetto Uguccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Graziano, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the game, A.S. Trastevere's Alex Pallini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Concetto Uguccioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.S. Trastevere fully deserved thier win.
