After 14 played minutes Velester Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Christian Miccoli. 20 minutes into the match, Velester Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Travaglini came free, but Fedele Petito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, Lilywhites's Edmondo Carciofo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fedele Petito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ercole Faiella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Scrima in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Lilywhites booed when Velester Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Scarinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fedele Petito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Carciofo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Carlo Pasquale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velester Football Club's Fedele Petito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Pasquale in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fedele Petito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fedele Petito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Pasquale in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
