The audience was convinced that Kacper Fetor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ercole Faiella was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Ercole Faiella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Fetor in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Kacper Fetor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Faiella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Faiella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kacper Fetor went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Lilywhites's Carlo Pasquale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Glasgow Rangers FC made a substitution. Fulvio Di Federico replaced Cosimo Vaiani. 53 minutes into the game, Cristoforo Ranieri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Kacper Fetor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ercole Faiella made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Cristoforo Ranieri in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Glasgow Rangers FC's Quintin Manrique. Ercole Faiella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kacper Fetor went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Glasgow Rangers FC's Quintin Manrique managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristoforo Ranieri in the 97 minute of the game. The Lilywhites supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Glasgow Rangers FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Glasgow Rangers FC.
