Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alemdar Baykut started the match with the kick off. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Scrima in the 2nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Enzo Proietti sped through Sporting Club Sicilia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edoardo Allemandi. The crowd rose to their feet as Roch Hatman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edoardo Allemandi. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. Gianluca Scamacca scored 2-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dave Falcioni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alemdar Baykut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 16th playminute. After a rather tough play, Burnley FC's Alvise Africano got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Gianluca Scamacca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Scamacca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dave Falcioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo De Vecchis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26th play minutes Gianluca Scamacca shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Dave Falcioni and just under the crossbar into goal. Dave Falcioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo De Vecchis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Gianluca Scamacca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Club Sicilia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Burnley FC's Dave Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Spinazzola in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Sicilia's goal looked a bit too open when Alemdar Baykut came free, but Edoardo Allemandi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Armando Falcioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianluca Scamacca was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo De Vecchis in the 51st minute of play forced Burnley FC's goalkeeper Dave Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo De Vecchis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Czempa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dave Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe De Tommasi in the 58th minute of play. Gianluca Scamacca might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Falcioni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Scamacca ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Proietti in the 66th minute of play forced Sporting Club Sicilia's goalkeeper Edoardo Allemandi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Enzo Proietti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Edoardo Allemandi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beppe De Tommasi came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dave Falcioni could save by the left post. Dave Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Scrima in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Sporting Club Sicilia got a freekick which was hit by Beppe De Tommasi. Sporting Club Sicilia's Edoardo Allemandi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alemdar Baykut in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Fabiano Barbanti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, Sporting Club Sicilia's Bernardo Belardi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dave Falcioni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Club Sicilia reached it. If Flavio Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Burnley FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Fabiano De Bonis hit a great ball. Beppe De Tommasi kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Amos Giusto's late challenge caught a Burnley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amos Giusto helped the player get up and apologised. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
