Cristoforo Giacomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Proia, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Miro Klose scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristoforo Giacomini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miro Klose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cristoforo Giacomini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Cianci. Cristoforo Giacomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miro Klose in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Miro Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Giacomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miro Klose in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Giacomini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Macchione made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Martano in the 33rd minute of play. Cristoforo Giacomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miro Klose in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Aquile Azzurre booed when AC Collins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Lemma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristoforo Giacomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miro Klose in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Giacomini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edoardo Proia kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabiano Del Papa to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to FC Aquile Azzurre getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alvise Mazzocchetti hit a great ball. Flavio Macchione showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Del Papa in the 53rd minute of the match. Fabiano Del Papa took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Macchione. Flavio Macchione dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. AC Collins's Dave Marrone was substituted for Domenico Graziani. AC Collins's Cesare Trentini was substituted for Carlo Martano. After a rather tough play, FC Aquile Azzurre's Comunardo Cianci got a free kick in the 64th minute. Ennio Catena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Macchione. FC Aquile Azzurre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 67 played minutes AC Collins got a freekick which was hit by Frank Rinaldi. Dave Marrone made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ennio Catena. The supporters of AC Collins booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Cianci didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Aquile Azzurre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Nelli in the 83rd minute. Miro Klose's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristoforo Giacomini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Edoardo Proia kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
