Frank Nelli was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Aquile Azzurre's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to FC Aquile Azzurre's Alaa Felice getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 13 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno De Laurentiis came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Alessio Tullo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Tullo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Angelo Peruzzi made a huge save. When Castagneto Po FC's Alessio Tullo in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 27th match minute, FC Aquile Azzurre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Gori to maneuver through the defense. Ercole Patrizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miro Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Adriano Coccia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Miro Klose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Vitucci in the 39th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Donato Vitucci in the 40th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some careless play in the Castagneto Po FC defense, Miro Klose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Patrizi. The Castagneto Po FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Patrizi should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Adriano Coccia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Patrizi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miro Klose stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When FC Aquile Azzurre's Adriano Coccia in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ercole Patrizi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miro Klose's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. FC Aquile Azzurre were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Castagneto Po FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Nelli took the corner. The corner led to FC Aquile Azzurre's Adriano Coccia getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Klose came free, but Ercole Patrizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ercole Patrizi. Ercole Patrizi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Edmondo Torelli got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Florian Guerrieri. Adriano Coccia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Patrizi having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Castagneto Po FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Klose came free, but Ercole Patrizi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Patrizi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miro Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Ercole Patrizi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Coccia's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Adriano Coccia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
