With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wasyl Misiorowski in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Bassani saved Aversa from getting behind. With his leg Amos Valcareggi managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Aversa's Damiano De Zorzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Amos Valcareggi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrico Faccio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 16 minutes, Adriano Briganti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aversa and the Zurlo Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Dino Saraceni fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aversa's protests and gave Dino Saraceni a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Aversa getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dino Saraceni hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aversa's Alessio Troiani slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amos Valcareggi. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Aversa's Dino Saraceni got a free kick in the 28th minute. Dave Bassani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Toni in the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Zurlo Team booed when Aversa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Saraceni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Bassani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attilio Mammarella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Damiano De Zorzi scored 4-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amos Valcareggi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dave Bassani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Misiorowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luka Toni got free with Dave Bassani in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cesare Gerola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zurlo Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesare Gerola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Bassani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Aversa getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alessio Troiani hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baladi Gonzalo during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amos Valcareggi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Troiani in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Zurlo Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Gerola to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Zurlo Team's zone, Damiano De Zorzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Valcareggi came out of the goal and Damiano De Zorzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Cesare Gerola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Damiano De Zorzi came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Aversa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damiano De Zorzi couldn't finish the play. Dave Bassani was a little too slow when Wasyl Misiorowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aversa fully deserved thier win.
