Alessio Cardillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Merceron United booed when UNLIMITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Trentini didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, UNLIMITED's goal looked a bit too open when Ennio Guidoni came free, but Alessio Cardillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Cardillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex De Toni went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alessio Cardillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex De Toni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Cardillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Antonelli in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute Alex De Toni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Cardillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Toni in the 39th minute of play forced UNLIMITED's goalkeeper Alessio Cardillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UNLIMITED booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Di Crescenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amerigo Salvagnin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex De Toni was the one to do the kick off. Alessio Cardillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Guidoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ennio Guidoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Alessio Cardillo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex De Toni got free with Alessio Cardillo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute, one of UNLIMITED:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UNLIMITED. After a rather tough play, UNLIMITED's Damiano Trombetta got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Alex De Toni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessio Cardillo. UNLIMITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex De Toni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Alex De Toni let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 81st minute shot 0-7 at rihgt post. UNLIMITED's Alessio Cardillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save UNLIMITED from getting a goal against them. Alex De Tonis short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Alessio Cardillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emilio Conti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UNLIMITED's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Ennio Guidoni scored to the left of an out of position Alessio Cardillo, making the score, 0-8. With a little luck, UNLIMITED's Alessio Cardillo got control of the ball when Alex De Toni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Merceron United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
