San Nicolò Kings's Ermanno Spada pulled a muscle in his leg after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ernesto Minichiello's late challenge caught a San Nicolò Kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Minichiello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Ernesto Minichiello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Alberigo Gianfrancesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Costantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match XMAS got a corner. San Nicolò Kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led XMAS's Alessandro Vettori to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Costantini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Nicolò Kings's goalie prevented a goal. After 15 minutes, Ernesto Minichiello made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ernesto Costantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Costantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Minichiello in the 22nd minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Ernesto Costantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes San Nicolò Kings got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Di Federico. In the 29th minute Alberigo Gianfrancesco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Costantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Eugenio Casiraghi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Costantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Alfonsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Costantini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 66th match minute, San Nicolò Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Quercia to maneuver through the defense. Alberigo Gianfrancesco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Costantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberigo Gianfrancesco slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 68th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Fulvio Di Federico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Armando Polidori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Costantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Gianfrancesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Eugenio Casiraghi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Polidori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulvio Di Federico's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Alberigo Gianfrancesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
