The LA Lord Perez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessio Martini should have stopped the shot. Carmine Gagliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessio Martini having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Gervasi in the 32nd minute of play forced LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Alessio Martini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alessio Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Gagliano in the 36th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corrado Di Blasio made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Florian Vinci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jun Misugi's late challenge caught a LA Lord Perez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A hard shot by Francesco Di Sante from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Alessio Martini's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
