Cacciola's Frank Cavallo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniele Arioli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Angelo Di Salvatore made a huge save. When Ryo Ishizaki fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sconvols United's protests and gave Ryo Ishizaki a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Ryo Ishizaki. 21 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Di Sante came free, but Luiz Fabiano Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Tarantini hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Cacciola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Arioli to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fabiano Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Stella in the 35th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Cristofari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cacciola's Concetto Antonelli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alvaro Schirru in the 39 minute of the game. 40 minutes into the game, Emiliano Bani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacciola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sconvols United the free kick. Emiliano Bani hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Biagio Tarantini in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Luiz Fabiano Vieira's left hand side. Davide Masetti hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Davide Masetti lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Sconvols United a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Francesco Di Sante, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cacciola's Luiz Fabiano Vieira. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francesco Di Sante to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cacciola's Daan Jurásek got a free kick in the 55th minute. Anfilogino De Vito scored 2-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Di Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Amos Cristofari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Fabiano Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Stella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrico Manzoli's late challenge caught a Sconvols United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrico Manzoli helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Sconvols United's zone, Cristoforo Di Berardino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Di Salvatore came out of the goal and Cristoforo Di Berardino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Di Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Arioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Stella in the 87th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ciccio Stella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cacciola booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Scafati didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Cacciola's Daniele Arioli made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Di Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francesco Di Sante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 played minutes Cacciola got a freekick which was hit by Frank Cavallo. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
