Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arturo De Vito made the kick off which started today's match. Cătălin Ioanițiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo De Vito in the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Cinalli. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Pittelli in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beppe Savoia saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Edmondo Pittelli made a precise shot to the right of Beppe Savoia. Carloforte f.c.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Grzegorz Grzelak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Arturo De Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Paganelli got free with Beppe Savoia in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Alfredo Paganelli lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Beppe Savoia. Edmondo Pittelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Beppe Savoia made a huge save. Cătălin Ioanițiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo De Vito in the 21st minute of play. Beppe Savoia stood somewhat misplaced when Aurelio Martorella came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. In the 27th minute, Grzegorz Grzelak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Martorella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Beppe Savoia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Savoia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmondo Pittelli's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Carloforte f.c.'s Cesare Cinalli got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Beppe Savoia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Paganelli in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo De Vito came free, but Cătălin Ioanițiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes, Santoryu FC's Aurelio Martorella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Savoia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santoryu FC reached it. Dino Di Nucci kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Edmondo Pittelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beppe Savoia. Carloforte f.c.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmondo Pittelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmondo Pittelli made a kick off. When Cesare Cinalli fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carloforte f.c.'s protests and gave Cesare Cinalli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesare Cinalli to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes, Santoryu FC's Aurelio Martorella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Savoia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santoryu FC reached it. Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Pittelli in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Panza in the 61st minute of play forced Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Ioanițiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Savoia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Paganelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Pittelli in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Cristiano Panza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carloforte f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santoryu FC the free kick. In the 68th minute, Cristiano Panza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Tieri. After having played for 73 minutes, Arturo De Vito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carloforte f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo De Vito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Paganelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Paganelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arturo De Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Ioanițiu having to interfere. Alessandro Iacovella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Ioanițiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 90 minutes of play Carloforte f.c.'s Cristiano Panza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 93 minutes, Alessandro Iacovella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carloforte f.c. and the Santoryu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alessandro Iacovella kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Santoryu FC's Aurelio Martorella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Savoia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Edmondo Pittelli sped through Carloforte f.c.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Beppe Savoia. Santoryu FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
