An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmondo Pittelli in the 7th minute of play forced Sconvols United's goalkeeper Damiano Rosato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Ioanițiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jun Misugi in the 9th minute. Alfredo Scafati charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Scafati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Santoryu FC booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Scafati didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes, Santoryu FC's Aurelio Martorella shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damiano Rosato came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santoryu FC reached it. 0-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Edmondo Pittelli elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aurelio Martorella hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Damiano Rosato came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Santoryu FC's Grzegorz Grzelak. But to his dismay, Grzegorz Grzelak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 25th minute, Edmondo Pittelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santoryu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aurelio Martorella hit a great ball. Alvaro Schirru hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Sconvols United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Gagliano to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Aurelio Martorella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Rosato. Sconvols United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Martorella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Edmondo Pittelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cătălin Ioanițiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jun Misugi in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Aurelio Martorella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Ciccio Stella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sconvols United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Stella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Aurelio Martorella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damiano Rosato. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Sconvols United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Schirru to maneuver through the defense. Biagio Tarantini kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th minute Aurelio Martorella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Rosato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. That made the score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's goalkeeper Damiano Rosato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmondo Pittelli. During the 79th minute of the match Alfredo Scafati completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfredo Scafati a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alfredo Scafati kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sconvols United's Damiano Rosato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Paganelli in the 82nd minute of play. Damiano Rosato was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmondo Pittelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 83 minute of play. Damiano Rosato was a little too slow when Aurelio Martorella got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-9. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Edmondo Pittelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santoryu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmondo Pittelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damiano Rosato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sconvols United's Damiano Rosato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Sconvols United from getting a goal against them. Edmondo Pittelli took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano Rosato. Damiano Rosato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Santoryu FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sconvols United.
