Elia Barberio made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Arturo De Vito sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Alessandro to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Carloforte f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Olof Bergendahl came free, but Beppe Savoia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes Carloforte f.c.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erivaldo Sena who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on AC Milan's corner Erivaldo Sena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Beppe Savoia quite easily take care of the ball. AC Milan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Arturo De Vito scored to the left of an out of position Elia Barberio, making the score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Carloforte f.c.'s Alessandro Iacovella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Barberio. Elia Barberio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Arturo De Vito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elia Barberio, 3-0. In the 34thth minute of the game Gabriel Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gabriel Jesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beppe Savoia having to interfere. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Bergendahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrea Capasso's late challenge caught a AC Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrea Capasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Capasso to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Carloforte f.c. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Amedeo Orioli hit a great ball. Alessandro Iacovella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Arturo De Vito notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of AC Milan's Elia Barberio. Elia Barberio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Gabriel Jesuss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Beppe Savoia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th minute of the match AC Milan got a corner. Carloforte f.c.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erivaldo Sena ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Erivaldo Sena took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Beppe Savoia to make any attempt to save it. In the 69thth minute of the game Arturo De Vito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Milan's Elia Barberio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 70 minutes, Fulvio Alessandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Milan and the Carloforte f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Fulvio Alessandro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Elia Barberio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo De Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Arturo De Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Barberio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 84th play minutes Arturo De Vito shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Elia Barberio and just under the crossbar into goal. After 90 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Di Paola. After recieving a nice pass, Carloforte f.c.'s Armin Scotti tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gabriel Jesuss short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Beppe Savoia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carloforte f.c.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
