Florian Pinti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Barone in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Concetto Lauri got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ermanno Marcolongo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Florian Pinti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Cristoforo Biavati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Cellucci was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Beppe Cherubini charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beppe Cherubini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Talenti Roma Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Cherubini. After a rather tough play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Francesco Giorgi got a free kick in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as S.S.C. NAPOLI's Frank Carlucci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Pinti. That made the score 1-1 after 40 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Carlucci to make the kick off. The supporters of Talenti Roma Calcio booed when S.S.C. In the 68th minute Armando Barone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Pinti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Barone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Cherubini hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Anselmo Costantino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th play minute Ermanno Marcolongo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emilio Cellucci. 1-2. A collision led to Talenti Roma Calcio getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cristoforo Biavati hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Ermanno Marcolongo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Cellucci was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of S.S.C. NAPOLI had been in control for most of the match, Talenti Roma Calcio still came away with the win.
