AC Civetta Notturna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Cauli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Stintino FC's Eraldo Iacovacci got a free kick in the 7th minute. Augusto Cauli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Antenucci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Stintino FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ercole Nobili hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes, AC Civetta Notturna's Emanuele Corsi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filippo Antenucci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Civetta Notturna reached it. Filippo Antenucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuele Corsi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emanuele Corsi sped through Stintino FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippo Antenucci. In the 19th minute of the match Theodór Pérez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filippo Antenucci showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Stintino FC got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Iacovacci. Filippo Antenucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Corsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 28th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Filippo Antenucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th match minute, Stintino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Nelli to maneuver through the defense. Alessandro Carbonetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mark Evans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Corsi in the 42nd minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Filippo Antenucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Corsi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippo Antenucci was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 47th minute, Emanuele Corsi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Civetta Notturna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Andrea Fabrizi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Emanuele Corsi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stintino FC's Filippo Antenucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Corsi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippo Antenucci was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Zbigniew Arendarski hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Mark Evans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Iacovacci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, AC Civetta Notturna's Daniele Di Nardo got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Carbonaro in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filippo Antenucci saved Stintino FC from getting behind. A hard shot 86 in the game by Bernardo Carbonaro from a close distance when the talented Filippo Antenucci managed to make a qualified save. Stintino FC's players were relieved. Bernardo Carbonaros short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Filippo Antenucci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silas do Vale struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Filippo Antenucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Civetta Notturna. Filippo Antenucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Carbonaro in the 96th minute. AC Civetta Notturna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
