In the 18th minute, Amerigo Toninelli made a precise shot to the right of Elia Losito. Kroton F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 22 minutes into the match, Beppe Zoff notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito. Elia Losito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Toninelli came free, but Elia Losito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Cristiano Ciarrocchi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Domenico Sabatino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elia Losito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amerigo Toninelli in the 33rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felice Di Federico was the one to do the kick off. Amerigo Toninelli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elia Losito came out and tried to block the shot, but Amerigo Toninelli slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 63rd minute. Elia Losito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Chiola, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Bertini came free, but Elia Losito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Granato came free, but Domenico Sabatino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Losito made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Amerigo Toninelli sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Chiola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elia Losito. Kroton F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anfilogino Chiola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 79 played minutes Amerigo Toninelli rounded Kroton F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. The supporters of Kroton F.C. booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Chiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Anfilogino Chiola took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Elia Losito to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Pellegrini in the 88th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Elia Losito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Chiola in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Eugenio Di Giuseppe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elia Losito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Elia Losito came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Sorci Viola's Amerigo Toninelli. But to his dismay, Amerigo Toninelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Sorci Viola's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
