Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Kroton F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of GiaSiRo 08 booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Di Febo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kroton F.C.'s Felice Di Federico got a free kick in the 10th minute. Francesco De Lucia kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Edmondo Bevilacqua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elia Losito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Alexander Granato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Ciraci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kroton F.C.'s Elia Losito got control of the ball when Edmondo Bevilacqua tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Ciraci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Granato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Di Blasio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Davide Zangari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kroton F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Zangari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 played minutes Kroton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francesco De Lucia. In the 35th minute of the game, Edmondo Bevilacqua landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Federico Balboni's late challenge caught a GiaSiRo 08's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Balboni helped the player get up and apologised. After 37 minutes, Davide Zangari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kroton F.C. and the GiaSiRo 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Kroton F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Davide Zangari. Armando Gargano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felice Di Federico made a kick off. Fabiano Ciraci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Granato in the 50th minute. 53 minutes into the match, GiaSiRo 08's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Di Federico came free, but Fabiano Ciraci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes GiaSiRo 08 got a freekick which was hit by Armando Gargano. 58 minutes into the match, Cristiano Ciarrocchi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GiaSiRo 08's Fabiano Ciraci. Fabiano Ciraci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Federico Pietrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, GiaSiRo 08's goalkeeper Fabiano Ciraci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francesco De Lucia. After 75 minutes, Camillo Nola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GiaSiRo 08 and the Kroton F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, one of GiaSiRo 08:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GiaSiRo 08. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Kroton F.C.. Davide Zangari stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabiano Ciraci. 0-2. After a rather tough play, GiaSiRo 08's Federico Pietrini got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ercole Di Febo got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ercole Di Febo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Cabrini came free, but Elia Losito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Ciraci made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Alexander Granato sent off a good shot on target. The Kroton F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kroton F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
