San Michele AFC's Alex Palumbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Biavati in the 9th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Weltevedren's Ettore Ferri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Palumbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Biavati came free, but Alex Palumbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Emanuele Biavati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Palumbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Orsi during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fedele Orsi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Alex Palumbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Brandolini. Fulvio Biondi charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulvio Biondi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fulvio Biondi hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Augusto Caligaris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Perri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Weltevedren's Emanuele Biavati got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuele Biavati to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuele Biavati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alex Palumbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Palumbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Brandolini in the 55th minute of the match. Alex Palumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Biavati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 played minutes San Michele AFC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Petrella. In the 60th minute, Franco Ragazzoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st match minute, Weltevedren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Brandolini to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Emanuele Biavati notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of San Michele AFC's Alex Palumbo. Alex Palumbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Palumbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Ferri, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Davide Ruscitti kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ettore Ferri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Palumbo having to interfere. Alex Palumbo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuele Biavati's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Emanuele Biavati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Palumbo was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. If Emanuele Biavati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Weltevedren had played much better football throughout.
