Gu Yang Sheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Milani in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Queiroz saved Villa di Molvena FC from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Jörn Ahlbeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa di Molvena FC and the SPALLETTE RETURNS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferdinando Milani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Queiroz having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Ferdinando Milani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa di Molvena FC's Zeca Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeca Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Milani in the 31st minute of the match. Zeca Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Gargano, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. SPALLETTE RETURNS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfonso Locatelli in the 38th minute. Chicão Bastos was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ferdinando Milani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Queiroz having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Milani in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Queiroz saved Villa di Molvena FC from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Gu Yang Sheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Di Muzio. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Costantino during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eraldo Costantino kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Alfonso Locatelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeca Queiroz having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd minute, Ferdinando Milani reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zeca Queiroz. The goal made the score 0-1. The corner ended in Claudio Marchisio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa di Molvena FC's Zeca Queiroz did a great save. After 58 played minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Milani. Ferdinando Milani struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zeca Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPALLETTE RETURNS. Ferdinando Milani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Zeca Queiroz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Villa di Molvena FC's Jörn Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 73rd minute. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Nicoló Cambiaghi was substituted for Edmondo Gargano. SPALLETTE RETURNS made a substitution. Tim Cahill replaced Ferdinando Milani. Jörn Ahlbeck hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tim Cahill got free with Zeca Queiroz in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edoardo Orioli made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SPALLETTE RETURNS's Alfonso Locatelli. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Tim Cahill took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Zeca Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute, Tim Cahill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Villa di Molvena FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SPALLETTE RETURNS's performance. The match ended with a win for SPALLETTE RETURNS.
