Fedele Del Grosso started the match with the kick off. Arrigo Capone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Del Grosso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amedeo Signoretti during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Amedeo Signoretti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stefano Desiderio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Mount™'s protests and gave Stefano Desiderio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gonzo Style f.c booed when Black Mount™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefano Desiderio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Flavio De Matteis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amerigo Sisti. Black Mount™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio De Matteis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Gonzo Style f.c getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Flavio De Matteis hit a great ball. Arrigo Capone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Del Grosso's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Amerigo Giardino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzo Style f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Mount™ the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Giardino to maneuver through the defense. Flavio De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Sisti having to interfere. If Emanuele Boccanera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stefano Desiderio came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Black Mount™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefano Desiderio couldn't finish the play. Arrigo Capone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Del Grosso in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fedele Del Grosso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Emanuele Boccanera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio De Matteis to make the kick off. Arrigo Capone was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Fedele Del Grosso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fedele Del Grosso really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Gonzo Style f.c's Alberto Firmani got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Flavio De Matteis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Sisti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Flavio De Matteis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Black Mount™'s Amerigo Sisti. Amerigo Sisti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Black Mount™ booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio De Matteis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio De Matteis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Sisti having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Alberto Firmani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gonzo Style f.c fans cheered their team off the field, for while Black Mount™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
