In the 15th minute of the match, Florian Bulla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Francesco Bomba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Florian Bullas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Francesco Bomba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francesco Bomba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Bulla in the 18th minute. Francesco Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Ramundo in the 21st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Florian Bulla sped through Real Murçia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francesco Bomba. In the 25thth minute of the game Daniele Ramundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Murçia FC's Francesco Bomba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florian Bulla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Francesco Bomba skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Daniele Ramundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosenborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniele Ramundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosenborg's Fortunato Zola was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 32nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Real Murçia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniele Ramundo came free, but Francesco Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Daniele Ramundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Bomba was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Florian Bulla made a precise shot to the right of Francesco Bomba. Real Murçia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Fortunato Zola elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

56 minutes into the match, Daniele Ramundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Bomba. Real Murçia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniele Ramundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Daniele Ramundo sped through Real Murçia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francesco Bomba. A collision led to Rosenborg getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fortunato Zola hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniele Ramundo in the 66th minute of play forced Real Murçia FC's goalkeeper Francesco Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attilio Mameli got his second yellow card in the match during the 67th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Real Murçia FC's Francesco Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Ramundo in the 71st minute of play. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Florian Bulla sped through Real Murçia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francesco Bomba. Rosenborg made a substitution. Giuseppe Furino replaced Dino Cieri. 81 minutes into the match, Florian Bulla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Bomba. Francesco Bomba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Bulla's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Real Murçia FC's Francesco Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Ramundo in the 89th minute of play. Francesco Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Ramundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Bomba came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rosenborg's Florian Bulla. But to his dismay, Florian Bulla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. After a rather tough play, Rosenborg's Florian Bulla got a free kick in the 96th minute.
