Bat Man made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Mora in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute Djamel Scheffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bat Man saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bat Man showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Mora in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Alexandrie CF got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Campet. Vasco Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rodrigo Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bat Man tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes, Clément Le Boucher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les 3 Quilles FC and the Alexandrie CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when Les 3 Quilles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clément Le Boucher didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Bakary De Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gameiro Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabin Françoise having to interfere. John-Paul Atlan charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John-Paul Atlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 41 minutes into the game, one of Alexandrie CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gameiro Reis was the one to do the kick off. Alexandrie CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maxence Mangel in the 53rd minute. The corner led Alexandrie CF's Maxence Mangel to fire away a dangerous shot which Bat Man despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabin Françoise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martial Bouvard in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gameiro Reis in the 63rd minute of play forced Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Gabin Françoise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabin Françoise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gameiro Reis's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Les 3 Quilles FC's Gameiro Reis managed to work through Alexandrie CF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gameiro Reis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gameiro Reis in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabin Françoise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Bat Man made a huge save. Antonin Lardon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabin Françoise having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Gameiro Reis came free, but Gabin Françoise reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Maxence Mangel hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, Les 3 Quilles FC's Samuel Alves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gabin Françoise came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les 3 Quilles FC reached it. Alexandrie CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
