Richard Leone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gameiro Lenoble having to interfere. Nathan Depré hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Vachon Sánchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Boureau in the 47th minute of the match. The Lyon 69ers fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Lyon 69ers's Charles-Henri Maron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charles-Henri Maron to strike the kick off in the second half. Gameiro Lenoble came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunar Park's Carlos Viet. But to his dismay, Carlos Viet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 74 minutes Lunar Park's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mathis Boureau who took care of the corner kick. In the 78th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Azcarate to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Robert Garrigues put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vachon Sánchez. Vachon Sánchez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Garrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jackson Busnel might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gameiro Lenoble. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jackson Busnel ran back to his position shaking his head.
