In the 6th minute Charles-Henri Maron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noël Péret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Pierre-Loup Robin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Saint Côme de Fresné's Édouard Guet quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 17th minute Hamid Guillemet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noël Péret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Robert Garrigues reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noël Péret. The goal made the score 2-1. If Charles-Henri Maron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Côme de Fresné's zone, Charles-Henri Maron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noël Péret came out of the goal and Charles-Henri Maron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Olivier Barnier got a free kick in the 28th minute. Patrice Sénéchal scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gameiro Lenoble, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noël Péret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles-Henri Maron's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamid Guillemet in the 36th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Noël Péret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Mertz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Joaquim Gibert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gameiro Lenoble having to interfere. Noël Péret made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles-Henri Maron in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Saint Côme de Fresné's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyon 69ers the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Bénier to maneuver through the defense. Lyon 69ers's Bart Martinaud got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joaquim Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Lyon 69ers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Claudinho Tepedino hit a great ball. Noël Péret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamid Guillemet, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jérémy Le Boucher to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Bénier. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Charles-Henri Maron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyon 69ers's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles-Henri Maron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noël Péret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
