The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Cuenca. In the 7thth minute of the game Jason Carrillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavaliers FC's Jaime Villegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedicto Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Bernad's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Jason Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Villegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cavaliers FC's Manuel Bernad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benedicto Pueblo. Benedicto Pueblo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Manuel Bernad hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Manuel Bernad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Pueblo. Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Bernad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Manuel Bernad struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Benedicto Pueblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavaliers FC. After 26 minutes, Manuel Bernad made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C's Benedicto Pueblo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Manuel Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Bernad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Manuel Bernad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Pueblo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Benedicto Pueblo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Bernad went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 43 played minutes Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Ixona. Valentin Ixona hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Benedicto Pueblo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bas Ovando in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jason Carrillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Bas Ovando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benedicto Pueblo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Charro in the 54th minute of the match. Benedicto Pueblo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Franco's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Jaime Villegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute Aristides Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Christian Bollaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bas Ovando, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cavaliers FC's Jaime Villegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Cavaliers FC from getting a goal against them. Benedicto Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas Ovando in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Aristides Franco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cavaliers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Cavaliers FC made a substitution. Alejandro Leoiar replaced Serafin Charro. Benedicto Pueblo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Franco went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Beti didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Arturo Beti hit a great ball. Benedicto Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Franco in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Talia during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cavaliers FC booed when Los Tuzos del Pachuca F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Talia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Cavaliers FC's Bas Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedicto Pueblo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Benedicto Pueblo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bas Ovando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Cavaliers FC were the better team. Cavaliers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
