Paulo Román might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Will Goldthorpe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Román ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Román in the 16th minute of play forced América Magics Fc's goalkeeper Will Goldthorpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Román fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Goldthorpe having to interfere. In the 25th minute Angulo Cabañero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Will Goldthorpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卫青 Bobo in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Feliberto Eyague had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Will Goldthorpe. América Magics Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Eyague was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 35th minute, Tomás Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Jon in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Jonathan Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Eyague had several of the América Magics Fc's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Will Goldthorpe as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Astros de México's Tomás Mangueira got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliberto Eyague was the one to do the kick off. Astros de México were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after América Magics Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonides Arlo took the corner. Will Goldthorpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Eyague, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Román in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Goldthorpe saved América Magics Fc from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goalkeeper Antoni Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 卫青 Bobo. Astros de México made a substitution. Ezequiel Aurre replaced Tomás Mangueira. In the 69th match minute, Astros de México was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Mangueira to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Astros de México's goalkeeper Antoni Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Jon. In the 76th minute, Claudio Suárez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jonathan Procopio fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored América Magics Fc's protests and gave Jonathan Procopio a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes América Magics Fc got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Procopio. Leonides Arlo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Will Goldthorpe. América Magics Fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ermegildo Gorka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 89th minute, Deng Bang Xiang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 minutes of play, Astros de México's Deng Bang Xiang made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Will Goldthorpe was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Astros de México's Antoni Lopes got control of the ball when 卫青 Bobo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of América Magics Fc booed when Astros de México was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of América Magics Fc's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. América Magics Fc may have spent more time on the ball, but Astros de México were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
