After some careless play in the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ defense, Feliberto Eyague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Kinsen. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Kinsen should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Palben made a kick off. A collision led to Astros de México getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Severo Primo hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Paulo Román made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Edgardo Kinsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Astros de México fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Astros de México's Feliberto Eyague looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Antoni Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Palben in the 87th minute of play. If Paulo Román had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Elvio Ariando got a free kick in the 95th minute. With a little luck, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Edgardo Kinsen got control of the ball when Paulo Román tried to sneak it across the goal line.
