But to his dismay, Bruno Medero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fernando Restu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gregorio Gilesindo made a huge save. Adolfo Otsoa's late challenge caught a Golden Generation's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Otsoa helped the player get up and apologised. Adolfo Otsoa kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Darkness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldebaran Tauro to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Micki Owen in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluigi Ogazon saved Darkness from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Armando Macias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darkness's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Generation the free kick. Golden Generation's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Pascual Chuan scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Gilesindo, making the score, 3-0. Pascual Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gianluigi Ogazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Micki Owen to make the kick off. After 72 minutes of play Golden Generation's Sung Park was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gregorio Gilesindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Golden Generation:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Darkness:s goal. 8-0 became the score in the 94th minute when Armando Macias elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gregorio Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Darkness's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
